I work from the conviction that leadership becomes truly effective when clarity, a sense of responsibility, and personal maturity come together.

I combine more than 25 years of leadership experience—including roles as CIO, executive board member, and board member—with in-depth expertise in executive coaching. I support experienced leaders who want to provide guidance in complex, dynamic environments, make decisions under uncertainty, and strategically enhance their leadership impact at the C-level and below.

I support senior executives in,

Experience & Background

  • For over 15 years I worked in management consulting – with a focus on strategy, operating model, process and efficiency programs, large transformations and leadership alignment.
  • Subsequently, I assumed executive line responsibility at the management and board of directors levels. I led teams and cross-functional programs in various industries and was responsible for strategically critical initiatives (including reorganizations, digitalization, performance and culture issues).
  • I have several thousand hours of coaching and sparring experience with senior leaders from financial services, insurance, industry, pharmaceuticals, IT & technology, healthcare, the public sector and consulting.
  • For many years I have been supporting executives during role changes – e.g. into management, succession/positioning issues or the building and development of management teams.
  • I am the author of the leadership books "The Phoenix Principle" and "The Hero's Journey of a Leader", which focus on measurable leadership growth, responsibility and personal maturity.
  • In 2016, I was recognized as one of the top CIOs in Switzerland.

  • Executive sparring for CEO/CxO and GL members: strategic decision-making, prioritization and implementation.
  • Top team effectiveness: Alignment, culture of responsibility, conflict resolution and clear rules of the game in the Executive Board.
  • Leading in Transformation: Navigating Change Programs, Reorganizations and Performance/Cultural Change.
  • Positioning and stakeholder management: Communication towards the board of directors, the group, customers and key partners.

When performance is high, but impact has not (yet) reached the desired level, I work specifically on the crucial levers that visibly increase influence, clarity, and commitment.

  • I combine my own executive experience with structured, professional coaching and sparring methods – practical, clear and consistently implementation-oriented.
  • The focus is on the measurable change in behavior and the perceptible impact on the environment (e.g., through targeted stakeholder feedback and clear results indicators).
  • I use sound diagnostics – such as the Reiss Motivation Profile®, Being Profile® or 360° feedback approaches – for precise location determination and for deriving highly effective development goals.
  • I work with concrete micro-interventions in everyday leadership so that development does not remain theoretical, but becomes visible in the calendar, in meetings, in decisions and in communication.

My style is clear and direct, yet respectful and reflective. I create a framework in which senior executives can think openly, sharpen their priorities, constructively integrate feedback, and develop their leadership profile with confidence and impact.
